ISRA ACTION ALERT - NORTHBROOK VILLAGE BOARD TO VOTE TO REDEFINE STATE CCW LAW LOCALLY, BAN FIREARM ACCESSORIES - TUESDAY MAY 22

YThe Village of Northbrook is feeling left out, outdone by neighboring towns of Highland Park and Deerfield, so now it's "their turn" to come up with local infringements on the rights of gun owners that tempt future litigation.  Northbrook intends to write its own CCW ordinances, overruling the state by banning CCW in any establishment where alcohol is served, regardless of what percentage of total income is derived from alcoholic beverages.

The village also plans to ban the sale and possession of select firearm accessories, again, possibly in conflict with state law, including local penalties like revocation of business license.

Finally, the Village of Northbrook also has on the agenda discussion of how to enforce Cook County's semi-auto ban, a ban that has been in the courts since it was introduced.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO PROTECT YOUR FREEDOM

1.  Attend the Village Board Meeting at the Northbrook Village Hall, 1125 Cedar Lane, Northbrook, on Tuesday, May 22.  The meeting starts at 7:30 pm, be there early to guarantee a seat and to ensure you have a chance to be heard.
2.  Be prepared to vigorously defend your 2nd Amendment Rights.  Refuse to be turned away.
3. If members of the press are there, seek them out, engage them, tell them that you are a law-abiding gun owner and turning you into a criminal overnight is not a cure for society's problems.
4.  Pass this alert along to all your friends and family, tell them to be at the Northbrook Village Board Meeting
5.  Post this alert to any and all Internet blogs, forums, or social media sites to which you belong.

REMEMBER – GUN CONTROL IS A DISEASE AND YOU ARE THE CURE
