Dear ISRA Members,
This month the ISRA Northwest Suburbs Townhall Meeting is cancelled in lieu of a town hall meeting sponsored by State Senators Dan McConchie (R-Hawthorn Woods), Don DeWitte (R-St. Charles) and Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry).that is being held at the same time as our monthly meeting in Algonquin The senators will be providing constituents with an update on significant legislation and the new state budget. All constituents are invited to attend the event to give their input and to ask questions about state government. No RSVP is required. So on Tuesday, please come to Crystal Lake City Hall, 100 West Woodstock Street. The meeting starts at 7:00 pm, show up early! Be ready to ask about firearms legislation, such as the so-called "Fix the FOID" bill to fingerprint all FOID holders and ban private sales, and the semi-auto ban and registration bill.
