ISRA Range - Tick Warning |
Dear Range Members,
We have become aware of one confirmed case of tick-borne Lyme disease from the ISRA Range, and at least one possible case. Please keep this in mind and take precautions to protect yourself while using the range facilities. People treated with appropriate antibiotics in the early stages of Lyme disease usually recover rapidly and completely, but prevention is the most effective way to stop the spread of Lyme disease.
The CDC recommends that everyone follow these precautions to prevent and identify tick bites. Please familiarize yourself with these precautions so you can have a safe and enjoyable time at the ISRA Range. Thank you,
Richard Pearson ISRA Executive Director
