Dear Rock Island County Member,
About 40 counties are considering or have passed “ gun sanctuary” resolutions. These resolutions, while not binding, send a message to the politicians and legislature in Springfield that law abiding gun owners have had enough of unwanted attacks on law abiding gun owners and the Second Amendment.
The Illinois State Rifle Association is looking for members in Rock Island County to ask their local county board members to present this resolution to the county board.
We have enclosed a sample resolution for your convenience.
