Mike Madigan’s chief allies in DuPage County – Senator John Curran and Representative David Olsen – are launching yet another threat against your gun rights. You need to take positive action to thwart that threat and protect your most basic Constitutional liberties.
On June 2, 2018, Curran and Olsen will be hosting an event at the Lakeview Jr. High School in Downers Grove. Although dubbed a “children’s safety fair,” the objective of the event is to project Chicago-style gun control into the western suburbs. Before taking office, both Curran and Olsen claimed to be staunch conservatives who supported the 2nd Amendment. Although Curran and Olsen were able to fool their constituents into believing they were pro-gun, they couldn’t fool Mike Madigan. Madigan recognized that Curran and Olsen were “squishy” on gun rights and could be easily lured into his stable of gun-grabbers. Today, Mike Madigan has Curran and Olsen securely in his hip-pocket. Madigan wins – you, the lawful gun owner, loses. Curran and Olsen slapped gun owners in the face this past week by signing on as sponsors of Mike Madigan’s latest bill to SHUT DOWN GUN SHOPS. Do Curran and Olsen sound like “conservatives” to you? They don’t to us. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO PROTECT YOUR GUN RIGHTS 1. Plan to attend the event which will be held on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at the Lakeview Junior High School, 701 Plainfield Road, Downers Grove. The event runs from 9:00 AM until Noon. Get there early so that you can get a seat. 2. Plan to vigorously defend your gun rights when speaking to Curran, Olsen and the media. Let them know that gun owners won’t be taken for chumps by political opportunists. Be sure to ask Curran and Olsen what Mike Madigan handed them in exchange for turning their backs on lawful gun owners. 3. Pass this alert on to all your gun owning friends and family.
