Townhall Meeting  3-12-26!

Our next South Suburban Cook County ISRA Townhall meeting will be on Thursday, May 14 th ,2026, at Papa Joes Restaurant 14459 LaGrange Rd. Orland Park, IL. There is ample parking at the rear of the building where there is also an entrance door.

Our Host Papa Joe’s will be serving a Buffet style dinner with unlimited soft drinks the cost of the buffet is $17.00 a person. The buffet will be set out at 6:15pm.

We will be collecting dinner money at the door and handing out tickets to avoid any confusion. Last Month’s guest speaker was Mark Vargas. Mark brought us up to date as to the issues that are affecting our Country. He spoke of the on-going concerns about waste, fraud and abuse in State government.

On April 15 th , IGOLD (Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day) saw more than 500 law-abiding citizens and Second Amendment advocates gathered to march from the Bank of Springfield Convention Center to the Capital Building steps to deliver a strong message to our State legislators.

This month’s meeting, we are excited to have Gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey along with his running mate for Lieutenant Governor Aaron Del Mar as our Guest speakers Darren believes that every child in Illinois—no matter their zip code—deserves access to a high-quality education that prepares them for success.

He is committed to restoring law and order and making our neighborhoods safe again. As governor, he will stand with law enforcement, not against them.

He knows that hardworking families across Illinois are struggling under the weight of high taxes, rising utility bills, and skyrocketing costs of living. As governor, he will fight to lower taxes, cut wasteful government spending, and bring real fiscal responsibility back to Springfield.

Darren Bailey’ pick to be his Lieutenant Governor is Aaron Del Mar
Aaron has a background in business, running a marketing firm, and was involved in city politics, growing up in Chicago and suburban Palatine. He is focusing on affordability, targeting economic issues, and attempting to expand the GOPs reach in the Chicago area.

Aaron brings a fighters edge to the ticket, often appearing with Bailey and acting as a vocal proponent of the campaigns initiatives.
