Our next NW Suburban Townhall Meeting will be Tuesday, April 21st at Golden Corral Restaurant, 1591S Randall Rd, Algonquin, IL 60102. Doors open at 6:00 PM. The formal meeting runs from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The restaurant reserves a private room for us on the condition that ISRA members purchase dinner there.

Last month’s speaker was Doug Mayhall, President of the ISRA at which time, among other things, he addressed current status of litigation pursued by the ISRA with certain highlights provided by Scott Web, current status of status of the Illinois congress’ antigun legislation, and the urgent need for ISRA members and their families and friends to attend this year IGOLD lobby day in Springfield.

This month’s speaker is Bo Hunt (and, yes, that is his real name), owner of BNT Arms (BNTARMS.COM).

Bo provides a variety of services intended to help shooters make the best choices in their firearms, to obtain the best performance from their firearms, to personalize their firearms for appearance, durability, performance, or all three. And that’s just the start. Bo will also talk about firearm selection for in-home protection. He is also an FFL who can assist you with firearms transfers and answer your questions about them if you are in the early stages of such considerations.

As in past months, we will address current events, update the status of PICA litigation and pending legislation in Springfield, and address new issues of the members.
