Retired Judge Joe McGraw has shown himself to be a fervent supporter of the second amendment rights of the voters in the 17th district. Meanwhile, his opponent continues to support legislation similar to the ban on commonly owned firearms in Illinois which has resulted in numerous Federal lawsuits, restricting the rights of voters, and impacting
waterfowl and turkey hunting that brings tourism and revenue to the 17th District.
Judge Joe McGraw believes in a safe and secure 17th district which includes preserving the rights to self-defense, and preserving private firearm ownership. For these reasons, the Illinois State Rifle Association Federal Political Action committee recommends that the people of the 17th district cast their vote for Joe McGraw.
