Carol Davis, Chairman, Illinois Conservative Union -
In 2008, the “bank bailout” prompted Carol Davis to get side-tracked from her life-long career in printing and publishing to launch an all-volunteer civic organization. The goal:
to educate and engage average citizens to stand up for the Constitution and safeguard freedom. After several years of growing the organization, it transformed from a regional group into a statewide civic organization, Illinois Conservative Union. For over a decade a top issue for ICU has been election integrity. Carol studied election law and procedures, served as an Election Judge and poll watcher, pinpointed weak areas which might enable fraud, worked to find solutions and to train others.
Carol has been a guest speaker and conducted trainings on the topic of election integrity to groups across Illinois and around the nation. She likes to remind people that she, like many others, is just a “Grannie on a mission” to help save the Republic.
Suzanne Rickman became very active in election integrity in November of 2020. She discovered the Illinois Conservative Union, and came on board with the
Illinois Election Integrity Program for their work in the 2022 elections. She is now part of the leadership team, helping with coordinating, planning, recruiting, moderating the weekly statewide Zoom calls, writing the weekly newsletter, and attending the national Election Integrity Network Leadership calls.
