Dear ISRA Member,
This is to inform you of a change of date for the new ordinance the Kane County Judicial Committee is trying to pass on November 10th, 2022. The ordinance would prevent you from target shooting on your own property. This would include rural property. If any citizen would like to have a chance to speak at the board meeting you will need to register no later than 8:30 a.m. on the day of the meeting. Registration may be completed electronically on the County's web site www.countyofkane.org; in writing at the County Board Office (719 Batavia Avenue, Bldg. A, 3rd Floor, Geneva, IL 60134); by fax (630-232-9188); or by telephone (630-232-5930) during normal business hours which are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. You should attend the Kane County Judicial Committee meeting to be held on November 10, 2022 at 9:00am.
