ISRA Range Alert: Tick Alert

To all ISRA Range members:

This year Illinois has more ticks than ever before.  The moist conditions have caused a higher number of all kinds of ticks and a surge is predicted in the Chicago area.  Be sure when you go to the range, hiking, or even cooking out in your own backyard to spray yourself and others with a bug spray high in DEET.  This is also true for pets.  Should you find a tick on yourself keep the tick as it can be sent in for testing to determine the type of infection. If infected get to prompt care.  The sooner you are treated the better off you will be.
